Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board (SVB) is the governing body of for the Partnership. It consists of representatives of governments of partner countries i.e. Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Finland and countries joining the EEP during its implementation. The chairmanship rotates among the Partner Countries. The Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) acts as secretary of the SVB.
 

The Supervisory Board has the following mandate:

  • Oversees the achievement of the overall Programme purpose
  • Approves the annual work plan and budget
  • Approves annual reports
  • Reorients work plans based on the periodic monitoring and evaluation
  • Proposes new approaches
  • Resolving any major policy issues and approving any amendments to the Programme Document

The SVB members are:

  • H.E. the Ambassador of Finland to Thailand
  • Representatives of the Government of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Vietnam
  • EEP Mekong CTA as SVB Secretary
